Obituary of Anton S. Brislinger
Anton S. Brislinger, 95, died December 21, 2009. He was born in Akron and worked at Goodyear Aerospace, retiring in 1979, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Tony, as he was known by friends and family, had a great love of life, and once said that “I have done everything in this life that I wanted to do. “ The American Artists Association, the Whiskey Painters of American, the Stow Historical Society, and Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Library were only a few of the many organizations to which he contributed his labor and talents. Golfing with friends and dancing with his wife, Dorothy, were his passions. And above all, he was grateful for his family and friends and for the life which God had given him.
Tony was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in 2001 and his daughter Barbara S. Kaluza in 1999. He is survived by daughter Becky Brislinger, sister Mary Sloop and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 3 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Stow, followed by interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
