Obituary of Lisa S. O'Connor

Lisa S. (nee Rex) O’Connor, 47, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2009 after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.  She goes to join her brother Bobby and her grandparents. Lisa worked out of Laborers Local 310 in Cleveland, and was most recently employed at Owens-Corning in Tallmadge. She was loved by her children Ryan A., Cory M., and Megan E. O’Connor, all of Akron; father  Robert (Lynn) Rex of Elgin, TX; mother Rose (Steve) Gitcheff of Cleveland; sister Patricia Clifford of Massillon; brother Richard Rex of San Antonio, TX; nephews Patrick and Noah Moss of Massillon; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where private services will be held Wednesday.  Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Lisa's video tribute may be seen here.
