Obituary of Bill Doctor

STOW- Bill Doctor, 79, passed away on December 18, 2009 at home. He was born June 10, 1930 in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Falls High.  He lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 65 years before moving to Stow in 1995.  He owned and operated Bill’s Home and Garden Center in Stow for 41 years, retiring in 2000.  He always loved gardening, fishing and enjoying the beach at his winter home in Jensen Beach, FL. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeanne; brothers-in-law  and sisters-in-law Don and Karen Barnes, Wayne and Sherri Collius; foster son and daughter-in-law Dann and Jan Nivens and several nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by them and many friends both in Ohio and Florida. Hospice of Summa Chaplain Rev. Michael Shaub will conduct service Wednesday 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where calling hours will be held Wednesday from 11 AM until service time.  Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N.
