Obituary of Raymond Piper
CUYAHOGA FALLS- Raymond W. Piper, Jr., 79, died December 15, 2009.
Born in Akron he was a lifetime area resident, a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, and had retired as a banking officer with National City Bank with 30 years of service.
Preceded in death by parents Raymond, Sr. and Alma (LaVern) Piper and sister Joyce Greene, he is survived by his wife Dawn; children Lynn (Marty) Stott of Dallas, OR, Gary (Leigh) Piper of Kirkland, WA, Glenn Piper of Yuba City, CA, Marianne (Mike) Alexander of Salem, OR, Erica Piper of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren McKenzie, Mark and Lili; Malia, Jessica, Zachary, and Kellie, great-grandchildren Kylie and Carson.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Saturday 12 noon at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Private burial Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, 4687 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls 44224 or to the Dance Institute at the University of Akron, Guzetta Hall, Akron 44325-1005.
