Obituary of Danny R. Starcher

Danny R. Starcher passed away December 16, 2009 after a four year battle with renal cancer, his wife of 48 years by his side.  Born in Akron on September 20, 1943, he graduated from Hudson High School in 1961.  Danny retired from Goodyear in 2002 after 41 years of service.  He was manager of Certified Auto Sales and Gemini Auto Care.  He was a past member of the Stow Jaycees, Stow Chamber of Commerce and President of Stow FOPA. Preceded in death by parents Alva and Marilee Starcher, sister Barbara Lapchynski, brothers Alva, Glen and Clyde Starcher and father-in-law and mother-in-law Willard and Thelma McCann.  He leaves behind his wife of 48 years Elizabeth, sons and daughters-in-law Jeffrey  and Dawn Starcher, Gregory and Kimberly Starcher, Brian and Susan Starcher, daughter and son-in-law Victoria and George Ritchie, grandchildren Tiffany (Michael) Vasiloff, Jeffrey, Gregory, Edward, Matthew and Katelynn Starcher, Samuel and Hannah Ritchie and spoiled dog Maggie Mae, brother and sister-in-law Claude and Patricia Starcher, sister and brother-in-law June and Frank Ruehr, sister-in-law Rebecca Starcher, sister-in-law Phylllis Starcher, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy and Bill Kosmala, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Tina McCann.
