Obituary of Giovanna Cotturo Scala

Giovanna Cotturo Scala   Our Loving Mother, Giovanna (Jennie) Cotturo Scala, Age 88, went to be with God on December 3, 2009.   Born in Roseto Foggia, Italy, she was one of nine children of Antonio and Celeste Cotturo.    Preceded in death by brothers Phillip and Joseph and sisters Vivian, Mary & Anna , she is survived by sister Rose Cotturo Ferrise of Cuyahoga Falls, daughter Jeannette  (John) Scala Krause of New Jersey; son Thomas A. (Diane) Scala of Stow; grandchildren Amanda (Tom) DiScala, Jason Scala, Will Krause and Tommy Scala; great-grandchildren Ella, Jake and Lilly DiScala and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.   Friends may call Tuesday 7 to 9 PM at Redmon Funeral Home.  Memorial Mass will be Wednesday 9 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224.
