Obituary of Frank E. Harvey

STOW - Frank E. Harvey, 55, passed away suddenly September 30, 2009. Frank was born December 6, 1953 in Akron. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1972 where he was an All-City Basketball player and held the high jump record for a number of years. Following high school he played basketball at Akron University. As a member of the Akron Board of Realtors, Frank made a career out of Real Estate for 35 years. In his 35 year Real Estate career he worked for Don Harvey Realty and his own company Frank Harvey Realty. Preceded in death by his father, Donald; he will be dearly missed by his wife of 31 years, Sheree; children Melanie (fiancé John Janci) Harvey of Myrtle Beach; Brett of United States Marine Corps stationed out of Camp Lejeune, Valerie and Lindsay of Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach and Chelsea of Akron University; mother Dorothy of Tallmadge; mother-in-law Mary Keller of Stow; siblings Don (Theri) of Cuyahoga Falls, Karen (Chris) Koza of Tallmadge and David (Julie) of Tallmadge; niece Jaclyn; nephews Chris and Trent and a tremendous amounts of relatives and friends. Frank’s favorite activity was enjoying life. He enjoyed golfing, boating (Clarion) and all outdoor activities, but mainly he enjoyed the friendship that accompanied these hobbies. His overwhelming pride and joy in life was watching his children grow up to be healthy and well adjusted adults.
