Obituary of Norma J. Augustus

Norma J. Augustus, 81, died June 20, 2014.  Born in Akron, she loved her family, enjoyed gardening, worked as a Social Worker for Summit County and had been an active supporter of the Grief Care Place. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Melvin in 2005, son Jim and is survived by daughters Linda ( Steve) Stroup, Christine Everhart, sons Wayne (Robin) and Danny (Ruth) Augustus., 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pastor Scott Hindel will conduct service at the Redmon Funeral Home Monday 11 AM, where friends are invited for visitation Monday from 10 AM until service time.  Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333.
