Obituary of Austin J. Linden
CUYAHOGA FALLS – Austin J. “Budd” Linden, Jr., 75, died May 14, 2014.
Born in Cleveland, he was a lifetime area resident and veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He received his master’s degree in psychology from John Carroll University, taught for many years at Lincoln High School in Cleveland and was owner and president of Quality and Beyond Consulting. Budd was a member of the US Power Squadron (Berea), Third Order of St. Francis and a former Boy Scout leader.
He is survived by daughter Marie (Brian) Cassidy of Aurora; sons Austin John “Dean” (Lori) Linden of Hinckley, Matthew Joseph Linden of Seattle, WA, Sean Wallace (Amy) Linden of Kaysville, Utah; grandchildren Stephen, Ian and Dana Cassidy, Evan, Olivia and Nathan Linden; loving companion Jerilyn Yama of Cuyahoga Falls and sisters Joy Taylor of FL and June (Frank) Knobbe of TN.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Monday 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 342 S. Chillicothe Rd., Aurora 44202. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S.
