Obituary of James R. Brisbin

CUYAHOGA FALLS – James R. Brisbin, 78, died unexpectedly March 25, 2014 and now is in the presence of his Lord and Savior. Born July 2, 1935 in West Union, West Virginia, he was a member of Graham Road Baptist Church for 66 years and attended United Disability Services for 30 years. Preceded in death by parents Wilbur and Sarah and brother Robert, Jimmy is survived by sisters Janet (Howard) Edwards, Judi (Ed) Lint; brothers Edward “Ozzie” (Kima), David (Sandy) and Wilbur; sister-in-law Susan and many nieces and nephews. Jimmy had an infectious energy that brought joy to all he met and he was truly an inspiration to anyone who crossed his path. A precious servant of the Lord,  a fan of the Cleveland Indians and a lover of the American flag and Coca-Cola, he was truly an All-American guy.    The family would like to thank the staff at Traditions for their loving care and kindness over the past 8 years. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday from 4 to 8 pm. Pastor Michael Lovett will conduct service Saturday 10 am at Graham Road Baptist Church.  Interment Stow Cemetery.
