Obituary of Lillian E. Lott
Lillian E. Lott, 93, died March 10, 2014.
Born in Akron, she was a lifetime resident and had been employed at Woolworth, General Tire and Honadle’s Chocolates. She also served the Rex Humbard Ministries as a correspondent for the many letters received. Lillian enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, ceramics and building dollhouses. She was a longtime member of the Akron First Church of the Nazarene and current member of Fishcreek Church of the Nazarene, singing for many years in the choir.
Preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Wanda (Robinson) Cox and husband Harold W. Lott, she is survived by her sons Ronald (Joyce) of Washington Courthouse, OH, David (Lourdes) of Cuilapa, Guatemala, Douglas (Kathy) of Olathe, KS; grandchildren Kristin, Jason (Maureen), Josue’, Gabriel, Derek, Ryan and Aaron Lott, Kendra (Chris) Katz, David Lott and Samantha (Steven) Tader; great-grandchildren Ava, Maya, Daxon, Annabelle and Jordyn; brother Douglas Cox of Rhode Island and 3 nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. Pastor Fred Wallis will conduct service Friday 11 AM at Fishcreek Church of the Nazarene, 4669 Fishcreek Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or to Hospice of Summa, 525 E. Market St., P.O. Box 2090, Akron 44398.
