Obituary of John S. Raymond

John S. Raymond, 45, went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2014.  Born in Akron and raised in Stow, he graduated from Holy Family Elementary School and Stow High School.  He attended The Ohio State University and The Univ. of Akron before graduating from The Riverside School of Aeronautics in Utica, NY. He is survived by his loving parents Bill and Dora Raymond, twin brother Dean, older brother Michael and sister-in-law Jeannie, Godparents Jim and Sue Huelsman of Barberton along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by Grandparents Joseph and Beata Ricci; George and Rita Raymond and step-Grandmother Rose Mary Raymond-Stitz. John was a member of Holy Family Church and The Carovillese Society where he volunteered at the weekly spaghetti dinners.  He was passionate about sports and music and attended many events and concerts with his brothers. Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation this Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 11:30 AM at Holy family Catholic Church.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  In memory of John, donations may be made to Holy Family School, 3450 Sycamore Dr., Stow, OH 44224
