Obituary of Elizabeth Caruso
STOW- Elizabeth “Bette” Caruso, 89, died February 8, 2014.
Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident, lived in Stow over 40 years and had worked as a phone operator for Bell Telephone prior to retiring from retail sales/management for 25 years. Bette was a member of Stow Woman’s Club, a lifetime member of the Stow Historical Society and member of the United Methodist Church in Stow, where she was active in the Esther Study Group.
Preceded in death by her husband Pete in 1989, she is survived by her daughter Robin (John) McKeever of Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren Cindy McKeever (Todd Ferguson) and Candy (Frank) Christy; great-grandson Cody Christy, great-great grandson Tanner Christy and many nieces and nephews.
Rev. Scott Hayward will conduct service Wednesday 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends are invited for visitation from 12 noon until service time. Burial Stow Cemetery. Should friends desire in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in Stow, 4880 Fishcreek Road, Stow 44224.
