Obituary of Maxine Chaney
STOW- Maxine Chaney, 88, a resident of Stow Glen for over 4 years, died January 10, 2014.
Born August 2, 1925 in Youngstown, she had retired from Acme, was an Avon sales representative and worked for many years at the voting polls. A longtime member of Stow Sunshiners, she enjoyed her many trips with them and loved working puzzles and playing Bingo, cards and Yahtzee with her friends. She also bowled at Stow-Kent Family Entertainment (SKFE). Maxine had a love for animals of all kinds, but especially her bird “Petie”.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Alice Albert and her husband Richard.
Thanks to the caring workers at Stow-Glen and the wonderful care from Hospice of Summa, especially Daniel.
Private graveside services and burial will be held at Stow Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the ASPCA.
