Obituary of James Rhodes

HUDSON- James (Jamie) Rhodes, 43, passed away suddenly on December 12, 2013.  Jamie will be remembered for his charisma and humor.  He had a unique way of making others feel special and had a gift for finding the best qualities in everyone.  We are all better people for having known him and he will be dearly missed.  Born in Akron, Jamie received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron, was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity and owner and president of a communication services business. He is survived by his wife Andrea (nee Fortunato); sons Dominic and Vincent; mother Mary Ann Rhodes and brothers Michael Rhodes, Randy (Alicia) Starcher and Jerry Rhodes (Bob Owens), along with many other relatives and very close friends. Visitation will be held Monday 4 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority, a college fund for the benefit of Dominic and Vincent, and mailed to Redmon Funeral Home.
