Obituary of Stephen Wronkovich
MACEDONIA - Stephen Wronkovich, 81, passed away December 22, 2014.
Born in Akron, Stephen had been a lifetime area resident and most recently resided in Macedonia.. He attended Akron Howard Vocational High School, proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and had retired from the Walton Hills Ford Stamping Plant after 40 years of service. Stephen was a past member of Holy Family Catholic Church, enjoyed his friends at Bob Evans, enjoyed traveling with a goal of seeing all 50 states, and his lifetime joy was being active with Boy Scout Troop 177.
Preceded in death by his brother, Mike, he is survived by his daughter, Mary Catherine (Todd) Thorbahn and their children Molly and Will; sons Robert James (Jennifer) and Edward Joseph; sisters, Mary and Anna; brother, James; former wife, Catherine; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care of Stephen.
Father Paul Rosing will conduct service Saturday 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop 177, 3450 Sycamore Drive, Stow, Ohio 44224.
