Obituary of Barbara Schmidt

Barbara Anne Schmidt, age 73, passed away on October 2, 2013. Mrs. Schmidt was a former resident of Boston Township and a resident of Lebanon TN for 18 years.  She retired from General Die Casters in Peninsula OH, was a member of the Peninsula United Methodist Church, and a member of the Lebanon Senior Citizens water aerobics class. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Howard Schmidt; sisters: Eleanor (Gary) Cargould of Stow, OH and Nancy (David) Pulley of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; brother: Ladd (Sherry) Mezer of Penn Yan, NY; daughters: Suzan and Barbara (Chris) Solis; sons: Leonard (Brenda) and James; grandchildren: Jason, Joshua, Megan Roush, Jeremy, Marc, Evelyn and Crystal; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends to whom she leaves her love.  She was preceded in death by parents Ladd and Lillian Petrick Mezer.  Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where service will be conducted Wednesday 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers the family asks you make donations to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406
