Obituary of Junior Curry
STOW – Junior Curry, 87, passed away September 21, 2013.
Born in Rock Cave, WV, he was a resident of Stow since 1974 and a US Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Junior retired from Reiter Dairy in 1988 and had been an active member of the Akron Baptist Temple serving as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and bus driver for over 50 years.
Preceded in death by his first wife Jessie; he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joan; daughters Rose Lynn Davis, Linda Hardman, Jackie Phelps, Diane Waskowski and Pam Varga; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Summa and the Arbors at Fairlawn. Thank you as well to Rev. Ernie Kemppel for all your love and support.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 5 to 7 PM where Rev. Ernie Kemppel will conduct service at 7 PM. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Akron Baptist Temple, Hospice of Summa or The GriefCare Place.
