Obituary of Margaret A. Yazvac

Margaret A. Yazvac was born August 20, 1928, to Anna & Thomas Rock, in Aliquippa, PA died December 13, 2014.   Margaret and her late husband, John, were longtime area residents. He preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Rock, grandson, Kyle Yazvac, and her son-in-law, Larry Goff.   Margaret is survived by her daughters, Laraine Duncan; Carolyn Smith (John) and Joan Goff; and sons, Edward and David Yazvac. She also leaves grandchildren, Tommie Goff (Janel); Bethany Davis; Johnny Smith; and Robert, Brian, Olivia and Alex Yazvac. She also leaves great grandchildren, Abigail & Gabrielle Guthrie, & Dakotah, Gabriella & Ciara Goff, and several nieces and cousins.   Margaret had belonged to Holy Family Catholic Church and more recently to Bailey Road Christian Church. She lent her lovely soprano voice to choirs at churches as well as the Crooked River Women's Choir and several Goodyear Theater productions. She loved nothing more than to be surrounded by family and friends with lots of laughs and good food. In her prime, Margaret was a wonderful baker, especially at Christmas time. She had a soft spot for all creatures, great and small.   Services will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2014, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Rd., Stow, where friends may call from 4:00 until service time. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
