Obituary of Norma Jane Krivak
Norma Jane Krivak, 97, of Munroe Falls passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Akron General Hospital.
Norma was born in Beaver Falls, Pa. on July 15, 1916, a daughter of the late Joe and Anna (Leppert) Ross. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Bob Krivak, four sisters, Mildred Lebio, Edith Filipone, Eleanore DeChellis, Gloria Androla and a brother, Raymond Ross.
Norma is survived by her three children, sons Terry (Pam) Krivak of Columbia Station and Mark (Beth) Krivak, of Cuyahoga Falls, a daughter ,Elaine Rowan Dailey( Bill deceased) and a brother Jack Ross of New Brighten, Pa. She also leaves behind her seven grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Michael Rowan, Tim (Kathi )Rowan, Russ Krivak, Matt (Danielle) Krivak, Jamie Krivak (Scott )Schulke, Maggie Krivak and Molly Krivak and nine great grand grandchildren.
Norma loved and was dedicated to her family. She was an avid bowler and sports fan and enjoyed watching and cheering for the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Norma’s name to Holy Family Church, 3450 Sycamore Dr., Stow, Ohio 44224 where she was a member and volunteer for many years.
Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home on Sunday, September 8th from 4:00 to 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Sept 9th 10:00am at Holy Family Church in Stow with interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Krivak's video tribute may be viewed here.
