Obituary of Ralph L. Foringer
STOW- Ralph L. Foringer, 88, went home to be with the Lord August 19, 2013.
Born in Akron, he was a Stow resident since 1963 and a US Army Air Corps and Air Force veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict. Ralph was a master finish carpenter and enjoyed using his skills in building and flying model airplanes with the Corsair Model Aircraft Club. He was also a longtime member of First Christian Church of Stow.
Preceded in death by his wife Charlotte and his sister Helen Barr, he is survived by his son Pastor James R. (Jeanne) Foringer of Roanoke, VA; daughter Linda (Jim) Taylor of Kent; grandchildren Christy (Phillip) Bowles, Timothy Foringer, Nathan Taylor, Katie Taylor; great-grandchildren Jake Bowles and Charleigh Bowles.
Rev. Jonathan Rumburg will conduct service Wednesday 6:30 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 PM until service time. Burial Thursday at Stow Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Air Force. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Stow or Harbor Light Hospice.
