Obituary of Ronald R. Phillips

CUYAHOGA FALLS-  Ronald R. Phillips, 73, passed away July 24, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer.  Born in Akron, he and his wife owned Garretts Mill restaurant in Stow.  He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, and loved being with the guys at The Gin Room. Ronald is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 51 years Sandra, daughter Renee (Kevin) Armbruster, sons Tony (Anita), Ronald R. Jr., and Joe, grandchildren, Nicole (John), Cory, Kyle (Toni) and Conner, great-grandchildren, Noah and Owen, loving brothers Nick and Frank (Rosie), sister-in-law Susie (Jeff) Scarasan and the Saturday Morning Breakfast Club. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Hospice Care Center of Summit County for their loving care of Ronald. Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday July 29th from 5 to 8 PM.  Father Jim Ragnoni will conduct service Tuesday 10 am at the Redmon Funeral Home.  Interment at     Holy Cross Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to St. Anne’s Shrine, 5384 Wilson Mills Road, Cleveland, OH 44143 or St. Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron, OH 44310.
