Obituary of James Howard Watson

James Howard Watson, 84, died July 15, 2013.   Born in Cookville Tennessee, he was a US Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, had retired as Postmaster of Sardis, Ohio and was a member of Arlington Church of God. Preceded in death by his mother Ethel (nee Howard) Watson and father James Watson,  brother Kenneth, he is survived by his wife Stacy; children Debbie, Alice, Susan, Jamie, Jimmy and Holly; step-daughters Maggie, Mindy and Anna; 8 grandchildren; sisters Evelyn (Jim) Neri, Hilda Libby ; brother Brigadier General Glen (Barbara) Watson and sister-in-law Ruth Watson and many nieces,  nephews and cousins. There are no calling hours.  Rev. Dr. Diana Swoope will conduct service Monday 10 AM at Arlington Church of God,  539 S. Arlington St., Akron 44306.  Burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for YEPAW, Youth Excellence Performing Arts Workshop, 1084 Seventh Avenue, Akron 44306.
