Obituary of Andrew Lohmann
STOW- Andrew Lohmann, 86, passed away June 11th, 2013 in Stow of natural causes.
Born on July 25th, 1926 in Nagyszekely, Hungary, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1949.
Preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth (Stroh) and Andreas Lohmann, he is survived by Anne (Holb), loving wife of 62 years; daughter Linda Knapp; granddaughters, Lori Albright, Lisa Morris (Bill), Marlene Knapp; great-grandchildren, Griffin, Maddox, Avery and Xavier.
He resided in Stow since 1959 and retired from National Machine in 1991 as a skilled machinist. He was also a Special Summit County Sheriff Deputy, pilot, motorcycle enthusiast and an expert "Mr. Fix-It." Andrew enjoyed German and Hungarian food, pizza, ribs, polka dancing and especially his grand and great-grandchildren. Special thank you to Summa Western Reserve Hospital, Falls Village, Emeritus, Crossroads Hospice and his neighbors.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 6 to 8 PM, where Rev. Arthur Cubbon will conduct service Tuesday 11 AM. Burial Mt. Peace Cemetery.
