Obituary of Betty J. Thomas

Betty J. Thomas, 91 of Kent passed away on May 25, 2013 at the Justin T. Rogers Care Center in Akron.  She was born Betty Jean Wilson on April 8, 1922 and was the daughter of Charles and Ethel Wilson of Waltersburg, PA.  She had 4 brothers and one sister, all deceased.  Betty lived in Kent for more than 50 years and worked at Ametek Lamb Electric before having a family.  She loved quilting and playing pinochle with friends. Betty is survived by her daughter Holly Stump of Stow and son Kevin Wilson Thomas of Norman, OK.  She also leaves nieces and nephews in Michigan and Maryland.  Holly and Kevin would like to thank Dr. Michael Hughes and Don Karas RN for their care and support of Mom, Lou and Shelia Klusty of Brimfield for their stellar care and support of children. Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from noon to 2 PM, where service will be conducted Thursday 2 PM.  Interment Standing Rock Cemetery.
