Obituary of John F. Ward
John F. (Jack) Ward, 92, died April 9, 2013. Born in Cleveland, he was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, served his country in the Army during WWII and had retired as a professor from Kent State University.
Preceded in death by wife Eileen in 2008 and brothers Jim and Ray Ward, he is survived by children, Kathleen (John) Carroll, Joseph, Mary (Robert) Clarkin, Jack (Kay), Thomas and James (Deborah); grandchildren, Kelly (Will) Christie, Jonathan, Patrick (Amanda), Timothy and Christopher Carroll, Michael, Jacqueline, Jeffrey, Bradley, Alexandra, Thomas, Brendan, Mary Eileen Ward, Kathryn and Ryan Clarkin; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Connor and Maura Christie, Madelyn and Elliot Carroll, sisters Josephine (Charles) Byrne and Mary Kilroy.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday from 4 to 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday 12 Noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, Father Paul Rosing Celebrant. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
