Obituary of Frank E. Carter
CUYAHOGA FALLS –Rev. Frank E. Carter, 86, passed away March 24, 2013.
Frank was born in Sycamore, IL, was a long-time Cuyahoga Falls resident and a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, where he was employed as a stewardship representative for 20 years. In his early years, Frank spent time as a missionary to migrant workers in California. He was an ordained minister and pastor of a church in Illinois. He retired from Haven of Rest Ministries after 16 years, but continued to serve as a volunteer.
Preceded in death by his first wife Betty in April of 1997, he is survived by his wife, June; daughters Joyce (Tim) Duncan, Lori (Dan) Taylor; son Paul (Rebecca); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters Mildred Montgomery and Doris Tucker; brothers Richard and Merle.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 PM, where Rev. Les Sutherland will conduct a service Friday 11 AM. Burial Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest, P.O. Box 547, Akron, Ohio 44398.
