Obituary of Charles R. Peel
Charles R. (Dick) Peel, 81, died March 16, 2013. Born in Commodore, PA, he had lived in Stow over 52 years, served his country in the US Army, and worked at for the Ford Motor Co. for 35 years. He was a longtime member of the Kent and Springfield Church of the Brethren and Lifecenter Plus.
Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy in September of 2012, Dick is survived by daughters Cindy Peel of Stow, Laurie Peel of Cuyahoga Falls, son Wayne (Kim) Peel of Streetsboro; grandchildren Amanda (Mark) Creque, Linda Peel, James (Hannah) Piascik II, Kathleen, Jennifer and Michael Piascik; great-grandson Anthony Creque and brother James Allen Peel.
Dick’s family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Kenneth Krutky and Grace Hospice.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Pastors Andy Hamilton and Kris Hawk will conduct service Tuesday 11:00 AM at Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Ave., Akron, 44312. Burial Maple Hill Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the church.
