Obituary of Ruth Beck

Ruth Beck, 83, went home to be with the Lord February 21, 2013.  Born in Cuyahoga Falls, she was proud to be   a homemaker for her family, loved to hike the fall hiking spree with the Metro Parks and was a member of the Akron First Assembly of God.  Preceded in death by her husband Maynard in 2008, son Patrick in 2006, father Willard and mother Hilda Williams, she is survived by daughter Susan Beck and son Michael (Angela) Beck, grandchildren, Andrew, Tina and Ashley (Larry Bowman) Beck, great-grandchild Kaiden Bowman.  The family would like to thank the staff at Wyant Woods for their kind and compassionate care of mom over  the past five years.  Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday from 1 to 4 PM, where Rev. Kent Jarvis will conduct service Monday 10 AM.  Interment Oakwood Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest, P.O. Box 547, Akron, OH 44398-6110.
