Obituary of Jack R. Egan
CUYAHOGA FALLS- Jack R. Egan, 91, died February 8, 2013.
Born in Cleveland, he served as a US Army M.P. during World War II and had retired from B.F. Goodrich after 42 years service. Jack was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling and playing golf, having scored two holes-in-one.
Mr. Egan’s family would like to extend their appreciation to both Lena and Hospice of VNS for their wonderful care of Jack.
Preceded in death by his wife Rita, parents Charles and Doris Egan, sister Corrine Naska and brother Richard Egan, he is survived by his son Mark (Debbie) Egan; grandchildren Jack and Beth Anne and sister-in-law Judy Egan.
Funeral service will be held Monday 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to service time. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Lena’s Home Care, 177 Malacca St., Akron 44305.
