Obituary of James Michael Mullet
James Michael Mullet, 45, of Akron, Ohio, entered into the presence of the Lord, on February 2, 2013. James died while awaiting surgery for a brain aneurysm. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his death.
James was born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 3, 1967. He moved to Akron in 1978 with his mother and two older sisters. He graduated from Firestone High School in 1985 and then attended Stark Technical College majoring in Computer Technology. James was on the National Dean's List and the STC Dean's List for five consecutive quarters, graduating with an Associate Degree in Management Information Systems. He was hired before he graduated by Professional Data Services. James went on to have a successful career in the computer industry. His latest employment was with Veolia Environmental Services, North America, Industrial Services where he worked as Sales Operations Team Leader. James was well respected for his creativity in problem solving and the effectiveness of his solutions.
James was a member of Bible Study Fellowship where he served on the leadership team as the Assistant Administrative Leader. He attended Grace Summit Community Church and was devoted to learning God's Word and living out his faith in his role as husband, father, and in all that he did. He will be remembered for his quick wit, quiet spirit, optimism, and his tireless service of others with his time and energy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
James is survived by his wife, Jennifer; son, John; two daughters, Julie and Joy; mother, Jean Keiser; sisters, Kathy Morgan (Brad) and Janet Paul (Joe); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy and John DeMund; sister-in-law, Marge DeMund; his many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.; and his good friend, Warren Carter.
Friends may call Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Northampton Bible Church, Wednesday, 2 p.m., Pastor John DeMund officiating. Private Interment at Moore's Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in James' memory, to Bible Study Fellowship or Grace Summit Community Church.
