Obituary of Judith M. Rank

Judith M. Rank (nee Hill) 63 passed away peacefully on the evening of Nov. 27th.  She was born April 23, 1951 in Columbus, OH to Frederick D. and Vesta M. Hill.  She married William S. Rank in 1979.  Judy earned a Master’s degree in education in 1976 and put her degree to work by watching children in her home for many years before joining CTF Partners as an administrative assistant. Judy was an active member of The United Methodist Church in Stow.  She played with the Brees Bell Choir for over a decade, served as a member of the Worship Committee as well as Treasurer of United Methodist Women, and supervised little ones in both the nursery and Kid’s Church.  A loving wife, mother, and friend, Judy will be missed by her family, friends, and church community. She is preceded in death by her father and survived by her mother both of Franklin, IN; her husband William S. of Stow, OH, her daughter Allison D. Rank (Tobie J. Hurst) of Oswego, NY; and son William F. Rank of Stow, OH.  She is also survived by a sister, Theresa (Bernie) Spencer of Fort Thomas, KY; brother-in-law, John (Twila) Rank of Tomball, TX; sisters-in-law Mary (Tom) Carney of Concord, OH and Anne (Mike) Simoncelli of Greensburg, PA. Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday from 5 to 8 PM.  Rev. Karen Drotar will conduct service Tuesday 10 AM at The United Methodist Church of Stow, 4880 Fishcreek Rd, Stow, OH 44224.  Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made, in Judy’s name, to the Brees Bell Choir at the church.
