Obituary of Constance T. Cistone

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Constance (Connie) T. Cistone, 85, born March 16, 1927, died January 13, 2013.  Born in Bellaire, OH, she moved to Akron, Cuyahoga Falls and Tallmadge. She had attended Crouse Elementary and West High Schools in Akron and was proud to have worked at O’Neils Department Store in downtown Akron, gift wrapping and modeling clothes for customers.  She was selected to attend the Powers Modeling School in New York City and later worked at Cardinal Plastics.  Connie’s first love was her family and all members which she supported, cherished and loved passionately. Connie also loved all animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed spending many summers at the family cottage in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada on Otter Lake.  Preceded in death by her parents Tony and Rose Cistone, she is survived by brothers Nicholas and Joseph (Jeanette) Cistone, nephews and nieces; Tim (Rosey), Kathy (Carl), and Tom; many great nephews and nieces.  The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Falls Village, especially Dehavlin, Erica, Cassandra and others for their care of Connie.  Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Ed Holland Celebrant.  Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday from 10 AM until 10:45 AM.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, Oh 44087.
