Obituary of Robert S. Cunningham
CUYAHOGA FALLS- Robert S. Cunningham, 87, died January 14, 2013.
Born in Hudson, he was an area resident most of his life and a US Navy veteran of World War II serving aboard the USS The Sullivans. Robert had worked for many years as a barber in Kent and then, along with his wife “Marcy”, in sales for Lowrey organs. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who deeply loved his family.
Preceded in death by his wife Mercedes “Marcy” in 2012, and by parents Robert and Ada Cunningham , he is survived by daughters Debby (Larry) Crow of Chardon and Nancy (Jim) Taylor of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Kelly Bright, Rob (Sally) Fuller, Matthew and Paul Taylor; 8 great-grandchildren and sister Betty Shimko of Mentor.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Thursday 12 noon. Burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
