Obituary of Carl Malagrida

Carl Malagrida, 92, a resident of Emeritus in Stow, passed away 1/1/13. Carl was born in Akron, later moving to WVa where he was a coal miner for 20 years and relocating back to Akron retiring from Consolidated Freightways in 1981. Preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Ethel, in 1980 and son Paul Eugene II in 2001, he is survived by daughters Darla (Frank) Samora, Carla (Tom) Harper, Lorna (Ed) Lane-Funai and Renay Beswick;  11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Rena Malon. A memorial service will be held 1/12/13 at Twin Falls U.M. Church, 60 N. River Rd., Munroe Falls, OH. Family visitation will be at 12:00 and the service will begin at 12:30.
