Obituary of Margaret Dudley Sharp
Nov. 16, 1922 – Jan. 4, 2013
UNIONTOWN- Margaret Sharp, 90, was called home to Heaven on January 4, 2013 at Altercare of Hartville.
Peggy was born in Alexander, N.D. to Arthur and Sigrid Johnsen. When she was a teenager, she moved to Fargo, N.D. with her family, which included six brothers.
In her early twenties, she moved to Ohio and met her future husband, Bob Dudley. They had three daughters and were active members of Divinity Lutheran Church, where they both sang in the choir. They loved bowling and family get-togethers.
Peggy was preceded in death by husbands Robert Dudley (in 1971) and William Sharp, who she married in 1976. Peggy and Bill enjoyed traveling and hot air balloon shows.
Four of her brothers have also passed away – Mel, Walt, Arnie and Ralph, and six dear sisters-in-law. She is survived by brothers, Sig (Ruth) Johnsen and Dean (Cheryl) Johnsen; daughters, Cheri (Paul) Schulz of Ohio, Pat (Alan) Howard of Durango, CO and Deb (Dan) Morgan of Anthem, AZ; ten grandchildren, Chris (Michelle), Scott, Chad, Ryan (Audrey) Todd (Traci), Tyler, Zach, Ben, Krista (Mike) and Kyle (Jen); 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to Redmon Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 10th from 9:30 until 10:30 AM, followed by a video and time to share our memories of Peggy. Rev. Bob Cheyney, Jr. will conduct funeral service at 11 AM. Burial Hillside Memorial Park.
We wish to thank everyone at Altercare of Hartville for their excellent care of our Mother. She has been a resident there since Dec. 2006.
