Obituary of Gene D. Wall

Gene D. Wall, 75, went home to Heaven on Friday, November 16, 2012. Born in Cadet, MO, he graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, moved to Akron in 1960 and began his career as a mechanical engineer with Goodyear, retiring in 2000 after 40 years service in passenger, race and aircraft tire.  Gene was a longtime member of Northampton Bible Church, where he served as both an usher and past board member.  He loved talking to, and being with people and was always willing to lend his help to others to fix or repair almost anything. Preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Stuart, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lena; son Jeff (Tamra) of AL; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; son-in-law Kevin Stuart; sister Ruth (Robert) Jarrard and brother Donnell (Gracie) Wall. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, Stow, OH for visitation Monday 6 to 8 PM.  Pastor John DeMund will conduct the service based on Ephesians 2:8-10 on Tuesday 11 AM at Northampton Bible Church, 333 W. Steels Corners Road, Cuyahoga Falls, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time.
