Obituary of Dorothy L. Peel

STOW- Dorothy L. Peel, 77, died September 6, 2012. Born in Indiana County, PA, she had lived in Stow 52 years and was a longtime member of the Kent and Springfield Church of the Brethrens, where she served for many years as organist and choir director. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dick; daughters Cindy Peel of Stow and Laurie Peel of Cuyahoga Falls; son Wayne (Kim) of Streetsboro; grandchildren Amanda (Mark) Creque, Linda Peel, James (Hannah) Piascik II, Kathleen, Jennifer and Michael Piascik; brothers Harry (Phyllis) Berkey and Robert (Janet) Berkey. Dorothy’s family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Kenneth Krutky for his many years of medical care and friendship. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 4 to 7 PM. Pastors Andy Hamilton and Kris Hawk will conduct service Monday 11 AM at Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Ave., Akron 44312. Burial Maple Hill Cemetery.
