Obituary of Almeda L. Cowley

STOW- Almeda L. Cowley, 86, died June 23, 2012. Born in Cambridge, NE, she had lived in Stow over 60 years and enjoyed providing loving babysitting and care for many, many children.   Almeda was also a member of the Stow Community United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her husband John “Jake”, daughter Janet Drewette,  grandson Howard Rose III, and sons-in-law Ray Hickey and Lance Lane, she is survived by her daughters Jacci Lane, JoAnn Hickey and Joyce (Steve) Seal; son John “Curly”;  grandchildren Robyn Rogillio, Angela (Joe) Vassalotti, Rachel (Chris) Tecca, Tyson Cowley, Amber (Jeremy) Michael, Amanda (Justin) Evans, Jeff (Jeannie) Drewette, Lindsey (Lee) Crago, Chris Cowley,  Adam, Jake and Jared Seal and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 4 to 8 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Wednesday 1 PM.  Burial Stow Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Stow Community United Church of Christ, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow 44224.  Almeda's videot tribute may be seen here.
