Charles "Chuck" Delano Bauercamper
Chuck Bauercamper, 79, formerly of Hudson, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, May 20th, 2012 of a massive heart attack.
Chuck graduated from Waukon High School (Iowa) in 1950 and attended the University of Iowa before being drafted into the US Air Force. Chuck was an outstanding athlete lettering in football, basketball, and baseball. He also played basketball while in the USAF with the USAF team. Chuck served in the Dental Corps while in the military, and continued in that field until his retirement.
Preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Ruth Bauercamper, he is survived by his wife Priscilla; sons Todd (Pam) and Jay (Dana); grandsons Jason, Austin, and Bobby and granddaughter Parker, all of Hudson; sisters Joan Johnson of Marion, IA and Marian (Richard) Geving of Cody, WY. Chuck's extended family also includes sisters-in-law Jean Reels of Uniontown and Barbara Hays of Weirton, WV; brothers-in-law Noel (Janet) Roberts of Elizabeth, WV and Robert (Mary Ann) Roberts of Coolville, OH; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rev. Dr. Peter Wiley will conduct services Friday 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 9:30 AM until service time. Burial Markillie Cemetery in Hudson. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087.
