Obituary of Frances Sayre

Frances "Polly" Sayre, 86, died peacefully November 7, 2014.  Born in Rhodell, WV, she had worked as a teacher in WV in a one room school house and was a member of the Graham Road Baptist Church for 52 years. Preceded in death by her husband John in 1997, brothers Robert and Billy Shorter and sisters Betty Toney and Linda “Susie” Moore, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Terry and Joy, grandchildren Matthew and Elizabeth, great-granddaughter Kayleigh and many nieces and nephews. The Sayre family wishes to thank Summa Hospice Team, especially RN Sandra Hodge, also the Visiting Angels for all their help and support.  Also a special thank you to Elizabeth who has lovingly cared for her grandmother. Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM, where Pastor David Kraft will conduct service Wednesday 11 AM.  Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 26250 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44132.  The family requests that children under 12 years of age refrain from attending calling hours or service, also formal wear only.
