Obituary of Elizabeth Starcher
Elizabeth R. Starcher, 69, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014, with her four children by her side.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, on November 24, 1944, she spent most of her life residing in Stow. While raising her children, she was a past president of the PTA and Brownie troop leader.
Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Danny Starcher; parents, Willard and Thelma McCann; sister, Teddy Starcher; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alva and Marilee Starcher; brothers-in-law, William Kosmala, Alva, Glen, and Clyde Starcher; and sister-in-law, Barbara Lapchynski. She leaves behind sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Dawn Starcher, Gregory and Kimberly Starcher, Brian and Susan Starcher; daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and George Ritchie; grandchildren, Tiffany (Michael) Vasiloff, Jeffrey, Gregory, Edward, Matthew, and Katelynn Starcher, Samuel and Hannah Ritchie; great-grandchildren, Michael and Macie Vasiloff; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Tina McCann; sister, Nancy Kosmala; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Claude and Patricia Starcher, June and Frank Ruehr, sister-in-law, Rebecca Starcher, sister-in-law, Phyllis Starcher; and spoiled 2 dogs and cat, Maggie Mae, Abbie Ann, and Tucker. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bath Creek Estates.
Rev. Adam Barton conducted a private service at Redmon Funeral Home and burial was held at the convenience of the family. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Akron Zoo, 500 Edgewood Ave., Akron, OH 44307.
