Obituary of Elizabeth Appleman
CUYAHOGA FALLS – Elizabeth “Lois” Appleman, 87, passed peacefully March 24, 2012 with her loving family by her side.
A lifetime area resident, she was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Falls Chapter. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1997, she is survived by son Kurt (Brenda) Appleman of Silver Lake; daughters Nora Ann (James) Ott of Cuyahoga Falls and Amy (Jim) Collins of Canal Fulton; grandchildren Amy Dotson, Matt (Jill) Morgan, William (Jeanine) Bye, Abby (Joe) Milano, Elisa (Josh) Ketterman, Denise Appleman, Julie (Gio) Pagano and Michael Appleman; eight great-grandchildren and her special dog Fred.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at The Gardens of Western Reserve for their loving care of Lois and a special thank you to Dr. Shelby Cash.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 7 to 9 PM. Graveside service will be held Wednesday 11 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery, please meet and form procession at Redmon Funeral Home at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
