Obituary of Joan L. Condon

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Joan L. Condon, 79, went home to be with the Lord March 13, 2012. Born in Akron on September 13, 1932 to Walter and Blanche Myers, Joan had lived in Cuyahoga Falls since 1953. She received her degree in nursing in 1952 and worked at St. Thomas Hospital. As a dedicated mother, Joan devoted herself completely to her family. She served as the head of nurseries and libraries of several area churches. Preceded in death by her husband William of 50 years, she is survived by her daughters Cynthia (Jesse) Payne, Pamela (Daniel) Fretz and Cheryl (Phillip) Nelson; grandchildren Jennifer Fleming and Michael (Krista) Fleming; great-granddaughter Berlyn Fleming and sister Barbara (Paul) Ritchey. The family greatly appreciates Joan’s many wonderful caregivers. Her daughters remember their mother's love, devotion, and dedication to their lives and are eternally grateful for all that she did for them. Pastor Tim Huth will conduct services at 12 Noon on Monday at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Interment Crown Hill Burial Park.
