Obituary of Albert R. Kallay

STOW- Albert R. Kallay, 85, died February 20, 2012. Born in Painesville, he had lived in Stow since 1967, was a US Navy veteran, member of Holy Family Parish and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.  Albert had retired from Terex after 30 years service, and was then employed with Miller Transfer and the U.S. Government. Mr. Kallay was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed volunteering for the Good Neighbors of Cuyahoga Falls for 17 years. Preceded in death by his wife Doris in 2010, he is survived by daughters Doral (James) Woodcock and Sandra (Michael) Gilbo; son David (Barbara) Kallay; grandchildren Michael, Michelle, Bradley, Zachary and Morgen; great-grandchildren Jordan, Allison, Christopher, Emily, Grace and Ryan. There are no calling hours. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 11:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Neighbors of Cuyahoga Falls, P.O. Box 233, Cuyahoga Falls 44222, Holy Family Buidling Fund, 3450 Sycamore Drive, Stow 44224 or to a charity of your choice.
