Obituary of Eileen M. Withrow

STOW- Eileen M. “Kaye” Withrow, born February 13, 1927, went home to be with her Lord and personal Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 6, 2012. She was known for her kind spirit, contagious laugh, selflessness and humor. She was also quite ornery to those she was close to. She was a woman who was a free spirited person and who spoke her mind. She enjoyed many trips to the country with her dear friend “J.B.”, who was her closest friend for the past seven years. She was a past employee of the U.S. Postal Service, and retired with thirty plus years of service. She was an active member of True Deliverance Baptist Church in Akron, and was known for speaking the truth when it came to the Gospel. She loved playing euchre, and enjoyed watching baseball. She was always seen impeccably dressed. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Walter. She is survived by a sister and several nieces and nephews, and will be missed tremendously by her church family. Friends may call from 11 to 12 noon on Saturday at Redmon Funeral Home, followed by eulogy at noon. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at 12:30 PM. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Precious Lives Sanctuary, 1474 Brittian Road, Akron 44310.
