Obituary of Ellen Spriestersbach

Ellen (Speas) Spriestersbach passed away suddenly on December 21, 2011 at the age of 59. She was preceded in death by her mother, Fredericka and father, Ralph Speas. Ellen graduated from Stow High School in 1970 and later from the Cuyahoga Falls School of Practical Nursing. She worked as a LPN in various Cleveland hospitals and also in homecare. She loved being a nurse and always took very good care of her patients. She is survived by her step-son, Austin Spriestersbach; brothers, Vance (Brenda) and Lance (Karen) Speas; nephews, Josh (Erin), Adam (Johanna), Matt and Ben Speas; niece, Sarah (Ian) McCloud; great-nephew, William and great-niece, Addelynn. Ellen was always a free spirit and will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home.
