Obituary of Raymond Peter Keller
Raymond Peter Keller, 84, died January 18, 2012. Born in Westport, CT, he served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII, received his master’s degree from the University of Akron and had retired from McNeil Akron. He was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoyed helping children in the Junior Achievement Program. Ray was always there to help anyone who needed help.
He is survived by wife of 62 years Betty, daughter Deborah Keller, son Dr. David (Pamela) Keller, grandchildren, Christopher Still, Jennifer Monteith, Andrew Keller and Bethany Keller, great-grandchild Gavin Still, and sister Audrey (John) Frost.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the staff and volunteers at the Hospice of Akron City Hospital who took such good care of Ray during his final days.
Pastor Deborah Wissner will conduct a memorial service at Bethany Lutheran Church, 815 Carroll St., Akron, OH 44305 Saturday at 3 PM. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, 833 Carroll St., Akron, OH 44305.
