Obituary of Joel K. Rush

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Joel K. Rush, 62, a longtime area resident, went home to be with the Lord January 12, 2012. Originally from Avon, OH, he graduated from Baptist Bible College and Seminary in PA and served as pastor to churches in Berlin Heights and Kenmore, Ohio. In later years, he was a member of Graham Road Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents Roy and Shirley and brother Franklin, he is survived by sons Keith (Stormy) of Wellington, Ohio, Bryan (Teresa) of Cuyahoga Falls and Tim (Jodi) of Akron; eight grandchildren; sister Joan Pirc; brothers Jerry (Bonnie), Don (Ruth) and David (Laura) and many nieces and nephews. Rev. Larry Engle will conduct funeral service Sunday 3 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends are invited for visitation from 1:30 PM to service time.
