Obituary of Marjorie E. Wharton
STOW-Marjorie E. Wharton, 84, passed away after a brief illness November 13, 2011. Born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, she was an area resident for 60 years.
She was everything to everyone and will be truly missed by all. Renowned for her cooking (especially her chili), caring about her family and friends and always thought of doing good deeds for others. She had a very quick wit and always enjoyed making people laugh with her infectious sense of humor.
Preceded in death by sons Robert C. and Michael A. and grandchildren Aaron Wharton and Tara Lyons, she is survived by sons James of Tallmadge, Ronald (Lois) of Columbus and daughter Sheila (Allan) Lyons of Stow, grandchildren Ryon (Jamie) Wharton, Traci (Daniel) Hippich, Chrissie (Chris) Martin, Jason (Tosha) Wharton, Lora (Jason) Oaks, Katie Wharton, Nathan Lyons and Brooke Lyons; great-grandchildren Jacob, Nicholas, Lauryn, Leeta, Carly, Jack, Caitlin, Ben, Anna and Cauline.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Friday at 1 PM. Interment Tallmadge Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, Ohio, 44406.
